The archives of the Zürcher Kunstgesellschaft and the Kunsthaus Zürich - from their beginnings to 1949 - is available to the public in the library.
Besides minutes of proceedings, inventory and accounting books and many other very different documents, the archive consists mainly of the entire surviving correspondence in connection with the collection and exhibitions of the Kunsthaus Zürich.
