The support structure

From the very beginning of the project, a partial replacement of the support structure was excluded due to the consistently serious and partly severe corrosion.
The new structure differs from the old one in visual as well as material and technical terms:  on the lower section cross beams have been dispensed with whilst using massive rectangular steel tubes.  Furthermore, the used CNS standard stainless steel is particularly corrosion resistant and durable.
