Restauration

The conservation of artworks includes a great variety of challenges, a deliberate approach to the oeuvre as well as the determination of the best possible solutions for the constantly newly arising problems. From the analysis of the general conditions, to the selection of the appropriate measures such as the retouching of missing spots of paint or the patching of tears in paper or canvas supports, on to the removal of surface dirt, reliable art-historical and technical information are the basis for all questions pertaining to conservation and restoration.
