The Kunsthaus Zürich presents works that are rarely if ever seen: in a three-part programme, 14 large-format installations by Bruce Nauman, Susann Walder, Dennis Oppenheim and others will be assessed by our conservators, restored where necessary and then exhibited – all before the eyes of visitors.
WATCH THE RESTORERS AT WORK
Tuesdays, 10.30 a.m.–3.30 p.m., ground floor
In anticipation of the greatly enhanced exhibition facilities in the expanded Kunsthaus, our restorers will be assessing 14 works from the collection one by one between April 2018 and March 2019. They will also work with collection conservators and artists or their representatives, who will contribute valuable insights into the production process, exhibition set-up and practice, to define criteria for future presentations. The restorers will be explaining their work to visitors on site and publishing their latest findings on information panels.
