Since 1979 Fischli/Weiss, the Zürich artist duo, has created a rich and inspiring oeuvre. As stated in 2006 by David Weiss, who died in 2012, the task at hand was to achieve the "simultaneity of irony and seriousness." With their work the two artists successfully impacted the world and permanently changed our understanding of art.
