In the lead-up to the exhibition 'Earth Beats', the Kunsthaus is staging a series of interdisciplinary events entitled ‘Earth Talks'. Well-known international figures from the fields of climate research, forestry, business, urban planning, mobility research, technology and philosophy as well as activists from the worlds of film and literature will debate issues of nature protection and sustainability.
Visit one of the most important art collections in Switzerland, from the 13th century to the present day. The spectacular new presentation of the works of Alberto Giacometti is a must-see. With exciting alternating references to friends and contemporaries such as Ernst, Miró, Derain and others.
On 9 and 10 October, the city and the Kunsthaus will be thanking the public for their 'Yes to the Kunsthaus extension' almost exactly nine years ago. And for the support we have experienced since then. On Saturday and Sunday, the artistic attractions and the new shell can be visited with free admission from 10 am to 6 pm.
