Information about the current situation

Dear visitors

The Kunsthaus Zürich is closed at least until 19 April. The Zürcher Kunstgesellschaft has taken this step to comply with official instructions to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus.

The closure of the Kunsthaus affects all areas accessible to the public, including the Collection of Prints and Drawings and the library. All public events until 19 April are cancelled. The highly successful Olafur Eliasson exhibition ends with immediate effect. Tickets purchased in advance can be either returned or used for admission to the Kunsthaus at a later date.

The Roaring Twenties Ball has been postponed until Saturday 27 June. Tickets already purchased will remain valid. They can also be returned at the Kunsthaus itself once it reopens.

The resumption of operations will be communicated in good time via and the media. Preparations for all exhibitions planned in 2020 will continue.

The Kunsthaus administration will remain contactable by telephone and e-mail. E-mail:, tel. +41 (0)44 253 84 84.
