With the new "ReCollect!" series, the Kunsthaus invites artists to present their take on the collection in dialogue with their own works, thereby questioning and reshaping the established canon. This multi-perspective approach to the collection opens up a fresh, inspiring polyphony that is in tune with the Zeitgeist.

Until now, the works in the collection have been selected and presented by art historians and curators. With the new series of collection presentations curated by artists, the history of the Kunsthaus is now being revived. Unlike other museums, the Kunsthaus Zürich was founded by artists and collector friends, and this direct connection has strongly characterised the institution and its collection. With "ReCollect!", the Kunsthaus is continuing this tradition in which artists are important interpreters of artworks and introduce new perspectives.
